Fall Prevention Monitor (bed exit alarm) features include: one button reset, optional tamper proof setting that allows only a caregiver to reset the alarm with patented magnetic caregiver key, status light, adjustable volume, low battery light and pad lost notification that would alert the caregiver if the pad became unplugged or damaged. Also includes a protective cover that will absorb impact if accidentally dropped. Use 3-AA batteries (not included) or AC-05 power adapter (sold separately).
Bed Sensor Pad 20″ x 30″ (PPB-WI) is suggested to be placed under the fitted sheet, 30 inches across the bed, between the shoulder blades and hips. Plug the cord from sensor pad into the bed alarm monitor. The bed alarm monitor will sound a soft beep when pressure is first applied to the sensor pad to let the caregiver know the system is active. When pressure is removed from the sensor pad, the monitor will sound continuous until the caregiver presses the reset button or pressure is reapplied to the sensor pad. The sensor pad is made of a soft vinyl, incontinence resistant and easy to wipe clean.
